Alliance Burgers arrive!!
Great news for those of you that get a wee bit peckish after a pint or two - the Alliance is now serving evening snacks!! Enjoy our fantastic home-made chicken and beef burgers (freshly made) as well as fish burgers, veggie burgers and pie and chips. Yum!!

Sunday Soirées
The footie is here therefore the next Sunday soirées with "UP YA BOYA" a fantastic group of fantastic Irish musicians will be 20th July. They will be performing unplugged at the Alliance.

Burns Night, 2008

We had a fab Paddy's day and night at The Alliance. Not only were the band, 'Hotbox', a smash hit, but the craik was mighty because of all you guys.

Guinness is fab at the Auld Alliance
Confirmed by the makers themselves - The Alliance was voted as having the best pint of the black stuff in Paris and in the top 5 in France!!! No bad for a Scottish bar!

Britain's Tallest Man visits the Auld Alliance
We were delighted to meet Big Neil, Britain's tallest man (7ft7"). Neil was filming an ad for Millar Light lager. The ad will only appear in the UK but watch out for the transformed Alliance!

Awarded to The Auld Alliance - Great Whisky Bar of the World
The Auld Alliance is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a certificate for being a 'Great Whisky Bar of the World'. We have also been nominated for the 'Best Whisky Bar in the World'.
